3 Alarm Building Fire

09/11/10: A
raging, three-alarm fire destroyed the former
Housatonic Wire Co. The fire began shortly before
4:30 p.m. on 109 River Road. There was around 125
fire fighters on scene. It was hazardous to some
trees and grass in the adjacent Trinity Cemetary.
Both the State DEP and the State Fire Marshal's
